Hey, all you necrofowliacs! Welcome to the final installment of this "Dead Duck" episode, "MADE TO BE BROKEN." Here's your trivia fix:

  • And so, we come to the end of Dead Duck's shady origin. He is who he is, and any potential for evil that he had has been siphoned out of him for good.......hasn't it?
  • I have always held firm the idea that family is what you make of it. I'm adopted, so to me, family isn't blood or lineage. It's personal relationships. That includes friends, co-workers, anyone you're close to. So that idea figures prominently in "Dead Duck".
  • I'm often asked why I draw hugs so much. I was hugged plenty as a kid, so it isn't some weird response to neglect. And I don't have a hugging fetish, if there is such thing. I just think hugs are nice, and I think I draw them well. Simple as that.
  • After two stories in a row of high tension and drama, I knew I had to wind the story up by getting back to the silliness. J.P. being a cold, threatening dink tosses ice water on the sentimentality, and gets the characters back to where we know and love them.

See you on the next page!
