Float Design (2006):Every year I'm given the task of designing and building the float for Thomas Township Parks and Rec, which is displayed in my hometown's annual homecoming parade.  And every year the time I'm given to pull this off grows smaller and smaller.  This year I had two weeks to create a float which would combine Jaws (the parade theme was movies) while promoting the parks.  Overall, I was pleased with what little I could accomplish with some plywood, poster board and our lack of an actual trailer (is it really a float if it's not on a trailer?).  Shields, Michigan.
