In 2004, Laura and I took a children's lit course at CMU, which involved performing literature to those in our class.  The puppetry segment of the course is what encouraged us to take it in the first place, so deciding to go above and beyond, I designed and built our puppets to reflect a story we were performing about bunnies.  I won't say these were the best puppets ever built (hot glue and ping pong balls will only get you so far), but they were fun to make, and performed well enough in the class to get us both A's for the assignment (Mount Pleasant, 2004).
