Zach Braff (2006): This year I became a quick convert to the comedic genius of “Scrubs” and its star Braff, which is often grounds for me to whip up a caricature tribute.  My first attempt had me using no reference and trying to incorporate Braff’s TV profession as a doctor.  However, my second, better and final attempt saw me using reference material for a more accurate portrayal, and well as jettisoning any sort of gag or background element.  This is simple and effective, and I’m very happy with it as a tribute to a guy I respect.   Drawn in Micron Pigma brush marker and colored in Photoshop.
