Avril Lavigne (2005): This may be the first time I've drawn a celebrity caricature purely out of spite.  I loathe Avril Lavigne and her whole attitude of "I don't need to know anything about the history of rock and roll to be a part of it."  So I drew upon her consistently snotty expression, poser punk-wear and the just-off-center-enough-to-be-annoying part in her hair to create this caricature.  Her statement is a not too-far-off parody of several incidents where she mispronounced names of established rock icons whom she'd never heard of while openly admitting her disdain for those who came before her.  Wadda dink.  Drawn in Micron Pigma markers and colored in Photoshop.
